Dear Precambrian lovers, we are working on a interactive web-map that show the location of the sites where Precambrian fossils are found around the world.
This is a beta release, with some errors and its not complete. There are many links that will be updated in future, but we are in collaboration with some worldwide specialists in this domain to create something of easy-to-use and interactive.
Keep in touch and as a appetizer, here is the map:
Zoom in-out with the mouse wheeler, zooming the name of the sites will appear as a label. Click on the upper-left double arrow to show the symbol legend. Clicking on the symbols a pop-up will appear giving summarized info's about the age, external links, site name and, when available, an image of a representative fossil.
